Program:
(approx. 60 mintues)

Parallel, 2009, HD video, color, sound, animation, 32 minutes
Dream like sounds and images engulf the senses. This is a journey through a myriad of abstract visuals, animated doodles, analog video interference and recorded expanded cinema performance. Colors dance and fly through space. A carefully orchestrated epic of visual music that ebbs and flows to hypnotic sounds created by Alejandro Cohen.

Telegenic Collapse, 2014, 30 minutes (premiere)
The world premiere of a new expanded cinema performance employing hand-painted celluloid, video feedback and a pocket music synthesizer, hacked to create video interference. As meditation on interacting obsolete cinema and television contraptions this piece will delve into dark depths of improvised color. Breaking and misusing equipment to create a new world of collapsing abstractions, glitch video, magic lantern flickering and hypnotic color repetitions.
